- What does the value printed on my share mean?
If you look at your share certificate you may notice a value printed on it this is called the shares Nominal value or Par value. This value has no relation to the actual shares market value. They are written on your share mainly for accounting purposes and allow the company that issued the share to keep track of how many shares they have issued. The meaning of this value causes confusion because it has no relation to the actual shares trading price for most practical purposes you can forget about it. Remember although your share does have real financial value determined by the stock market the idea behind FramedShare is to provide a unique gift and not an investment.

- Is this a real share?
The share certificate is real giving you true ownership of one share in the company that you purchase. It is legal so you are entitled to all rights of a shareholder. You will receive dividends if the company pays them. You will receive quarterly and annual reports. You will receive anything that any shareholder of the company gets. You receive these directly from the company because the certificate is registered in your name or the name of a friend if you want to make this a gift.
